I n order to have a specific framework of reference in terms of tourism planning for the Island of Mallorca, the Fundació Mallorca Turisme launched the Strategic Tourism Plan for Mallorca 2020-2023.
This Plan was developed prior to the outbreak of the global pandemic caused by COVID-19. The emergence of this health crisis has had a huge impact on the promotion, management and positioning strategy of all the tourist destinations in the world where Mallorca is no exception.
Consequently, the Mallorca Turisme Foundation has been obliged to carry out a specific Post COVID-19 Tourist Reactivation Program based on the strategic axes and lines of action already defined.
